Hark & Herald Message Balloons
|
Our message balloons were inspired by our children's book Heavenly Balloons. Release a balloon and enjoy the peace and contentment it may
bring. Our unique message balloons include a tracking feature that provides a way to connect the one who releases
a balloon with the one who finds it. We believe releasing one of our balloons will inspire a great interest in checking
the tracking board to see if someone has found your balloon and responded to your story. *
Releasing a message balloon can
be a rewarding experience and may provide a simple way to express feelings and emotions. It may also connect
you to someone who could become a great inspiration and help you build a bridge from where you are today to a better
place tomorrow.
*
More importlantly, it allows an opportunity for someone to read a heartfelt story posted
on the board and in return, reach back with words of compassion or gifts of kindness. With that said, we encourage
you to write your thoughts, feelings and all your hopes and dreams of a better tomorrow!

Balloon Facts About Protecting Our Environment
|
*
The balloon industry operates with an eye on the environment. Important facts
you should know about latex balloon releases:
Only latex balloons are used by professionals
in mass releases. Industry guidelines require these balloons to be self-tied and have no attached strings or ribbons
when released - each balloon is 100% biodegradable.
Rarely do released balloons return to the earth's surface intact. Studies show these balloons usually
rise to an altitude of about five miles. At that point, freezing and air pressure causes "brittle fracture"
creating spaghetti-like pieces that scatter to the four winds.
While some balloons don't reach this altitude, research
indicates that in an average 500-balloon release, the unexploded balloon return density is no greater than one per 15 square
miles.
Regardless
of the latex balloon's ultimate form when it lands, it will decompose, forming a natural soil nutrient at the same rate as
that of an oak leaf.
